It’s only recently that I’ve found the language and style that feel authentically mine. This journey of discovery has helped me understand not just how I create, but why I create the way I do. My work is rooted in a lifelong search for beauty, meaning, and sanctuary in the natural world. Through my camera, I strive to capture not just what I see, but what I feel—a quiet reverence for landscapes, the poetry of a single flower, the way light transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. I draw inspiration from artists who saw the world with both intensity and tenderness. Like Ansel Adams, I am captivated by the drama and serenity of wild places, seeking to honor the land’s quiet power in my black-and-white landscapes. Georgia O’Keeffe’s devotion to the intimate details of nature inspires my close-up studies of flowers, where I invite viewers to linger and discover the soul within each petal. Minor White’s meditative approach reminds me to look beyond the surface, using texture and atmosphere to evoke emotion and invite contemplation. But it is Vincent van Gogh who most deeply shapes my creative spirit. His fearless use of color, his swirling energy, and his belief that art is a form of healing resonate with me every time I step behind the lens. Like Van Gogh, I see art as a way to transform emotion into something luminous and lasting—a bridge between the inner world and the world around us. Whether I am capturing a fleeting moment of light, layering textures to create a sense of dreamlike wonder, or stripping away color to reveal the essence of a scene, my goal is always the same: to celebrate the diversity and wonder of nature, and to offer viewers a moment of peace, reflection, and connection.
